Agility Jacket for Dog Owners

Many of my customers are dog owners and trainers. They asked  that  we make a jacket that can accomodate all the "stuff" that they need with them, when training. Our Agility Jacket really seems to fit their needs.

We offer 2 types of fabric.  The first one is Polartec Windpro Stretch, a very water and wind repellent fleece with a smooth, hard-face finish.  It's comfortable, breathable, and durable. Many color options.

The 2nd fabric is the best thing since sliced bread...Polartec Neoshell. Neoshell beat Gortex for breathability and water repellency in tests by Popular Science magazine. In a nutshell, its super light, stretchy, and very durable. Water and wind repellent, of course!  Several pictures below show this jacket in Black (the only available color in Neoshell), with all optional features, including reflective piping, hood, and many functional pockets.

The pullover style has an optional horizontal chest pocket to hold leashes and toys, and side pockets for treats or to warm hands. The back of both pullover and zip-front can be made with a kangaroo-style pocket for holding toys for fast access and instant reward when training. Other options include hood, cell phone chest pocket, and zip arm pocket to hold those "bags" we have to pack around for the gifts our dogs leave for us on the ground.

The hood is very comfortable, but you also have an option of a stand up collar, if you prefer.  In 2011 our agility jackets were selected by the Clickerdog team of Susan Garratt, well known for her "Say Yes" dog training school.

Bottom Line: We start with a base coat, and you add on which options you wish. Call us for details and we'll help you decide which fabric and options based on your needs, and also help you wist sizing.

The agility jacket design is the culmination of many ideas that make up the perfect dog-owners garment. Hair doesn't stick to them! They are so cozy, you'll be using it for much more than dog-days. We are still working on a few jacket improvements, all suggestions from "dog" people.  If you have some great ideas, let us know.

If you walk your dog at night, we can also add reflective piping.

Our regular Windpro Jackets starts at $140.00  for most sizes. Agility jacket options such as the chest or back pocket cost very little to add. The Neoshell base jacket is $175.00 before optional add-ons. 

These hard-working fabrics last  for years. We also have other fabric options such as Polartec Powershield or Windbloc, and can advise what would work best for your climate.
